3. James Cook is exactly what the Atlanta Falcons need if he isn’t overvalued after the championship game

Having watched back the Georgia Bulldogs season ahead of the college playoffs that one player that stands out offensively is James Cook. Cook is the backup coming in for a couple of snaps that always manages to make the big play.

He can catch at almost a receiver level and is able to take a handoff 80-yards for a score in the blink of an eye. He isn’t a player that has been talked about a lot due to his lack of playing time but he is an electric weapon.

Matt Ryan and James Cook would be a dynamic duo that would help the Atlanta Falcons offense tremendously.  Cook’s ability to catch the ball is what stands out the most for the running back.

Cook’s older brother Dalvin has been a star for Minnesota a fact that could have James Cook’s draft stock rising as we approach the draft. Regardless he fits in Atlanta and deserves consideration. He would pair well with Mike Davis and Cordarrelle Patterson and give Atlanta the option to play Patterson at receiver more often if they are able to retain the utility player.
