This pick is without a doubt the biggest question mark of them all but worth the risk if John Metchie leaves Alabama. Coming off of a season-ending injury and likely needing a lot of time to rehab it is questionable whether or not he will enter the draft. With the COVID 2020 season giving a lot of players an extra season if they so choose Metchie could decide to utilize this and could be a first-round pick next season.

Jameson Williams and Metchie weren’t scouted that far apart before Metchie’s injury threw a wrench into the Alabama receiver’s career. If he enters into the draft he will be a risky long-term investment for a team that will have to be patient with the star.

Metchie has a skill set that Atlanta lacks, he can take a simple slant 80-yards in for the score. Kyle Pitts and Cordarrelle Patterson would fit perfectly with Metchie and give Atlanta a great well-rounded group of playmakers.

Matt Ryan and Metchie would work well together considering we have seen Ryan utilize similar receivers with far less talent. Olamide, Marvin Hall, and Taylor Gabriel are a few recent examples of speedy receivers Ryan has utilized well. Metchie has a more complete skill set and would be featured as a starting receiver once healthy.
