Despite how differently their season went from the Atlanta Falcons one week into the playoffs the Dallas Cowboys were sitting on their couch alongside the Falcons. Both teams have seen much better days now watching the class of the NFC dominate.

Headed into the 2022 season it will be interesting to watch what approach both teams take. Arguably in the two weakest divisions in football, both the Cowboys and Falcons have to feel they have a chance to find their way into the playoffs.

The notable difference between the two teams is the number of impact players the Cowboys have heading into free agency. While Atlanta needs to lock up Younghoe Koo and Cordarrelle Patterson they have very few players that they will be worried about re-signing.

Instead, the Atlanta Falcons primary focus will be looking for bargain contracts they can steal around the league including from the Dallas Cowboys

Dallas has a lot of free agents that Atlanta could reach out to when you consider the perfect fits. One reunion, in particular, could be interesting, safety Damontae Kazee could be an interesting move for Atlanta.

Of the four most interesting fits of this Cowboy’s free-agent class, Kazee is the least likely leaving three clear targets Atlanta should consider this off-season.
