The Atlanta Falcons have a long list of priorities to fix this off-season. The list has become even more urgent after the early off-season movement in the NFC South.  The New Orleans Saints lost their head coach Sean Payton and appear to be without a clear answer at starting quarterback.

Add in the fact that they are in the worst cap position in the entire league and it is hard to see the team contending next season. The more likely scenario is rebuilding and working on improving their cap situation.

The Carolina Panthers doubled down on head coach Matt Rhule despite the level of regression Carolina suffered this season. Add in the fact that they are tied to Sam Darnold for another season and the Panthers are in trouble heading into next season.

The Atlanta Falcons sense of urgency has to be sky-high heading into a season with a suddenly wide-open division

Atlanta needs to find a way to make move early on this off-season to put themselves in a position to win the NFC South and that means an unconventional approach. With Matt Ryan locked in as your starter the focus should be on adding weapons, pass blockers, and pass rushers.  Atlanta needs to put all options on the table including these five who could become surprise targets.
