1. Von Miller

If you’re as desperate for a pass rush as the Atlanta Falcons are how could you not be tempted to chase Von Miller? The edge rusher has rebounded his career with the Rams and is getting ready to play in his first Super Bowl since he made his name winning the game for Peyton Manning and the Broncos against Carolina.

There is no questioning that Miller is still an elite edge rusher and one of the better players in this league. However, as we have seen with Grady Jarrett or A.J. Terrell one great player simply isn’t enough to fix a bad roster.

Atlanta needs to be focused on bringing in a myriad of options when it comes to pass rushers. They don’t need one big addition they need to bring in a lot of help and players that can rotate and help get after the quarterback. Von Miller would be a splashy signing that would help Atlanta but he would be a temporary reprieve and not the fix the Falcons need to find.

Atlanta needs to add a lot of pieces to their defense and slowly rebuild the unit not attempt to fix it with one splashy signing. Von Miller is unlikely to choose Atlanta whether they chase him or not but when considering their target list Miller shouldn’t be on the list.
