What the Atlanta Falcons plans are with star wide receiver, Calvin Ridley, is unknown at this point. Who knows if the rumors are true about him potentially being traded, but until it happens we will have no idea.

However, you should not be criticizing Ridley for what he posts on social media, it is downright wrong. He took a mental health break during the season for a reason, simple as that.

Stop worrying about how the Falcons WR portrays his life on social media

If you are somehow unaware of what has transpired with the Atlanta Falcons star receiver, then here is a quick summary:

Back in October of last year, Calvin Ridley announced that he would be taking time off to focus on his mental wellbeing, something that is vastly more important than his career as a football player. It was received with mostly positivity and support, but now he is receiving rude and insensitive comments from people.

Ridley recently posted pictures on social media of himself on a yacht, which for some reason makes people think that he totally faked the mental health issues.

How anyone thinks they can tell what is going on inside someone’s head from one picture from one moment in time is beyond ridiculous.

Many have criticized him for faking all of this just so that he can get traded, which is also downright ridiculous. There are much easier ways to go about forcing a trade, just ask Julio Jones.

Just because Calvin Ridley does not want to share why he took a break from football, does not mean he is faking everything. Stop assuming things that you have zero evidence to justify.

Calvin Ridley’s decision was done for a reason, that is a guarantee. It is none of anyone’s business as to what is or was going on. If he eventually feels like sharing it, then great, but if not, then that is fine. Ultimately it is his life, therefore it is his decision.

Just stop worrying or speculating about what is going on with him, all you can do is hope the best for him in the future!
