2. George Pickens

There are many exciting fits for the Atlanta Falcons in this draft class including Georgia’s George Pickens. What makes Pickens stand out is the fact his value is down considering how little he played on Georgia’s title run. Pickens was out for most of the season and had limited snaps even once he was finally healthy.

When he is healthy Pickens is an elite receiver who has a chance to be the best in his class. His ability to make the contested catch and dust the secondary is impressive and will likely make him a very early day two pick.

The Falcons will certainly have Pickens high on their board on day two. He would be the perfect receiver to pair with Calvin Ridley and Kyle Pitts and give Atlanta a full complement of weapons that would help keep them in games this season.

Pickens seems like a likely Atlanta target when you consider their position in the first round. They are a bit early to reach for a receiver meaning they will likely address the position on the second day of the draft leaving George Pickens as their best fit.  Regardless of who they choose to go with look for Atlanta to draft a receiver in the second round.
