3 Reasons Matt Ryan should demand a trade from the Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are meeting with Deshaun Watson and considering trading for the quarterback despite the fact Matt Ryan remains under contract for two more seasons. Whether or not the Falcons ultimately trade for Watson or acquire another quarterback Ryan should be done with Atlanta.

A team he has given everything to hasn’t put the same time or energy into giving Ryan what he needs to win. Instead of looking to fix a roster that is starving for talent Atlanta is looking to replace the one position they have locked in.

We have seen Deshaun Watson play with a bad roster and just like Ryan the quarterback struggled and was unable to elevate the Houston Texans to contender status.

Whether or not the Atlanta Falcons trade for Watson Matt Ryan should demand a trade from Atlanta

Ryan shouldn’t let Atlanta’s decision on Watson factor into the fact they are making the wrong move. Ryan deserves a better situation one that is willing to improve their roster and support a veteran quarterback who is still more than capable of winning games.  Ryan’s time in Atlanta could be coming to an end and if Atlanta doesn’t choose to move on the reasons Ryan should are very clear.
