5 Starting quarterback options for the 2022 Atlanta Falcons

The question here is what is the value for the San Francisco quarterback on the trade market? If it is expensive he isn’t an option for Atlanta. Why would you try to upgrade over Ryan and willingly choose to downgrade if it weren’t at a bargain price? If it isn’t Atlanta needs to chase Baker Mayfield or ride with one of the remaining quarterbacks who are sitting in free agency.
Two things can be true Jimmy is a proven winner and also the complete opposite of clutch. We saw it in the Super Bowl against the Chiefs and in the last NFC Championship against the Rams. He is just good enough to get your team close but he isn’t going to put anyone over the edge. If, however, Atlanta is serious about attempting to remain in contention and they are forced to trade Ryan there are worse options than Jimmy.
Frustratingly for the Falcons both Carson Wentz and Russell Wilson are off the market who both are better players than Jimmy. Wentz has had his high highs and low lows but at his best, he has been a top ten quarterback. Is there any argument Jimmy belongs anywhere close to the top ten?
