The Atlanta Falcons are stuck in a mess of their own making after failing to trade for Deshaun Watson and possibly alienating Matt Ryan. While nothing has been heard from Ryan or his camp as of yet it is hard to imagine Ryan wanting to return to Atlanta after the off-season the Falcons have pulled.

Instead of building around the quarterback, they had one who had pushed them back into relevance they chased a question mark in Deshaun Watson. Why they chased Watson in the first place was questionable from the start, the fact they were thought to be one of the final two teams in the running and had all but packed Ryan’s bags makes a return questionable.

If the Falcons are going to convince Ryan to return and not demand a trade they are not only going to have to make amends they are going to have to make moves.
