Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones (2) exits the field after their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in a AFC Divisional playoff game at Nissan Stadium Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 in Nashville, Tenn.Titans Bengals 012222 An 004 /

1. Bring Julio Jones back home to Atlanta and give Ryan a capable target

There is a reason the Titans traded for Robert Woods shortly after releasing veteran Julio Jones. Jones hasn’t looked like the same receiver over the past two years struggling to stay healthy and separate the way he did with regularity in his Hall of Fame-worthy career. Jones may not be the receiver he once was, however, bringing him home will help fix his lack of production.

Matt Ryan found a way to give Tajae Sharpe and Lee Smith key receptions last season, even an aging Julio Jones is going to be an impact player when paired with Arthur Smith and Matt Ryan. Julio coming back to Atlanta could be difficult considering he demanded a trade from the team a year ago.

Jones after a rough season with the Titans isn’t going to be in the driver’s seat when it comes to choosing his contract and the Falcons can offer him a deal that will make reuniting with his former quarterback worth joining a team in Atlanta that isn’t going to be a Super Bowl contender. Jones would need to simply be the first move for a team that is going to need at least three impactful additions at the position.
