2. Sign former Georgia Bulldogs receiver A.J. Green

After the Deshaun Watson debacle and an off-season of telling us Matt Ryan wouldn’t be traded this front office needs a win.  Bringing in a veteran receiver who will be a fan favorite due to his Georgia ties would be a win of a move though one with concerns.

Green has struggled to stay healthy and isn’t the receiver he once was with the Bengals. However, much like Jones Green is an upgrade and a move Atlanta must make if they want any chance of contending next season. They need help at the receiver position and that is going to have to come with a myriad of moves through free agency and the draft.  Atlanta needs to sign veteran receivers and address the position within their first four picks in the draft.

Green is coming off of a solid season with the Cardinals that saw the receiver finish with 848-receiving yards as arguably the third-best receiver on the roster. Green’s productivity and veteran presence would both be great assets to a team that lacks both of these qualities at the receiver position. Bring Green back to Georgia and give the veteran a chance to finish his career with the Falcons.
