1. The Philadelphia Eagles have the assets and the clear need at the position

Washington went out and got Carson Wentz this off-season to attempt to find an answer at the position. Wentz will give the Eagles his best shot twice next season while the Eagles are countering with Jalen Hurts.

My colleague pointed out this potential fit when rumors with Deshaun Watson were still swirling. Matt Ryan is from Philly and would be a great fit and huge upgrade for the Eagles. You are competing with Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz do you truly believe in Jalen Hurts?

If not now is the time to make a move, the Eagles have multiple first-round picks and young receivers they could move for Ryan.

If I’m Atlanta it takes a first-rounder to get me to the table to move Ryan within the NFC. A first-round pick and a player would be a fair price for the veteran and leave the Eagles with plenty of depth and a first-rounder. Sending Ryan back to Philly to compete in a very weak division with a great roster would be Atlanta doing right by their franchise guy while still getting a great return and giving them a chance to set up their future.
