It seems like the Eagles have been on a search for a solid linebacker for years now, trading for Deion Jones could possibly help them finally find an elite linebacker—provided that he starts playing to the level he is capable of.

It all makes sense as we know that the Falcons front office and the Eagles front office have already been in contact this offseason as it was reported that they had a deal in place to trade wide receiver, Calvin Ridley, prior to the investigation.

Obviously, Howie Roseman and Terry Fontenot have an established relationship, so Fontenot should approach Roseman with the idea of the Eagles trading for Deion Jones.

They currently have the following linebackers on their roster: JaCoby Stevens, Christian Elliss, Davion Taylor, Shaun Bradley, T.J. Edwards, and Patrick Johnson.

Most fans do not know who any of those guys are, but they could change that with the addition of Debo who would add a spark to their linebacking core.

The Eagles also have a multitude of picks in the upcoming drafts. This would set up well for them possibly acquiring Deion Jones from the Falcons.
