The Falcons should bring back Julio Jones and see what he has left

The Atlanta Falcons should seriously look into bringing back their greatest receiver in franchise history.

Yes, we all know he is 33-years old and will not be getting any younger, but if you even get a little bit of the old Julio, that is still something special.

He has no doubt struggled with injuries during the past two years, and he likely will not become any less injury-prone, but again, even having a little bit of Julio can be something special. He is the greatest receiver this franchise has ever seen for a reason. His physicality and dominance over defenses were unmatched during his prime.

He is someone that defensive coordinators were terrified to play against, they used to have specific game plans just to stop the Falcons All-Pro receiver.

Julio may not play an entire season but having him for part of it can help the team out immensely.

New quarterback, Marcus Mariota, would no doubt welcome the move, Julio would give Mariota a stable veteran that he can trust throwing the ball to.

Who knows if he would actually be willing to come back, as he likely wants to latch on with a Super Bowl contender, but Atlanta should certainly try to bring him back for these reasons.
