Julio Jones can provide a steady target for the Falcons’ new QB

Every quarterback needs that guy that they can trust, former Falcons receiver, Julio Jones, can still be that kind of player. He is a veteran of the game and has seen everything the game has to offer, you can think of him as the “Tom Brady” of wide receivers.

Julio will run the right route nearly every play, he will also have the timing of the routes down, he knows how to get open using more than just athleticism, and he will be a trustworthy receiver in crunch time.

Currently, the Falcons lack that, to say the least. Olamide Zaccheaus is not that player, he should be used as a rotational piece for Arthur Smith, not be listed as the number one receiver on the depth chart.

Julio would take pressure off of other players, even at this stage of his career, creating more opportunities for other guys to flourish.

Julio Jones has the pedigree, it is just a question on if he can stay healthy for most of the season, if he can, he no doubt can still be a useful player.
