Who will be the next A.J. Terrell for the Falcons in 2022?

2021 for the Atlanta Falcons was basically a throwaway year, they were a near .500 team that was simply not good enough to make the playoffs.

While they were still in the playoff hunt late in the season, the Falcons never looked like a team that could make any run in the postseason even if they made it. They lacked talent and depth, two things that are imperative to be a playoff team.

However, even with all the negatives of last season, there are still some things to build on as the Falcons were able to benefit from incredible play by a few breakout stars.

The first player being A.J. Terrell who was arguably the best corner in the entire league last season. He was able to shut down whoever he went against despite not benefitting from any pass rush, in fact, he was the least helped corner in the entire league when it came to pass rush.

The two breakout stars were Chris Lindstrom and Cordarrelle Patterson. Two players, who much like Terrell, did not benefit from elite teammates.

So, who will be the next breakout star for the Falcons during the 2022-23 NFL season?
