Bulldogs . Devonte Wyatt. 43. player. 814. . DL

Devonte Wyatt may not be the Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman that many fans are hoping Atlanta will draft but he is an underrated prospect in this draft. Lost in the greatness of Jordan Davis is the fact that Wyatt has the chance to be just as disruptive at the next level. He is a solid pass rusher in for an interior lineman and is a great run stopper who has a proverbial nose for the football.  If Wyatt is still on the board at this point Atlanta should take him without any questions.

Grady Jarrett and Devonte Wyatt would be an elite pairing that would go a long way in fixing Atlanta’s issues against the run while giving their pass rush a big boost. Wyatt has a great motor chasing plays down the field and has impressive speed for a man his size. Putting him in the interior of the Atlanta defense would be a big step in the rebuild and give Jarrett some much-needed help.

Lost in Grady Jarrett’s solid tenure with the Falcons is just how little help he has often had manning the interior of the defense. Wyatt is a selection that benefits Atlanta on a number of levels including giving Jarrett a chance to increase his already impressive production.
