164. player. 834. . WR. Hurricanes . Charleston Rambo

Charleston Rambo is 6’1 with average speed and great hands with a skill set that could translate into a good slot receiver.  Atlanta still needs to add depth at the position and Rambo could be an interesting development project. After it appears they missed on Darby last season Atlanta simply can’t do any worse at the position.

The Falcons had one of it not the worst receiving groups in the NFL and Darby couldn’t crack the rotation. This should tell us everything we need to know about a receiver who appears to be a miss by the Atlanta front office.

This may leave them hesitant to take another swing in the late rounds but if they decide to take a chance Charleston Rambo is the move. The former Miami Hurricanes receiver is also a great blocker and has shown the ability to make catches over the middle. Drafting Rambo and using him in the slot or to spread the field would be a great wrinkle for the Arthur Smith offense.

There are questions about Rambo’s route running and ability to catch the ball down the field. However, his upside and fit with Atlanta make him an easy pick in this spot.
