Looking ahead to the 2022 season it is obvious that the Atlanta Falcons will become sellers well before the trade deadline. Leaving them the opportunity to trade away veterans and load up on draft picks heading into the 2023-off-season.  This is a lost season that Atlanta will spend opening up cap space and giving the team a chance to reset the franchise.

It is clear that this team has never fully recovered from their 2016 playoff run that ended in the infamous Super Bowl collapse. Atlanta has long been due for a franchise reset and despite a bumpy off-season, the front office is making the right decision rebuilding.

Any player with trade value that Atlanta doesn’t intend to build around should be moved this off-season or during the season. Atlanta needs to focus their attention on acquiring as many draft assets as they can in an effort to set up the team to find their quarterback of the future.

Whether that is moving draft picks in a trade for a player or using the draft picks to select Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud this team needs as many assets as they can acquire over the next year. With this in mind, let’s take a look at the five most likely players to be traded this off-season.
