Since Ryan Pace joined the Atlanta Falcons front office it is no coincidence that the team has signed a number of former Chicago Bears players. So far they have all been depth pieces that Pace is familiar with during his time in Chicago.  It points to the fact that Pace does have at least a level of influence in the front office.

Pace’s time with Chicago was defined by his inability to get the quarterback position right. He did a great job finding talent late in the draft as well as surprise bargains in free agency. Huge quarterback misses in Andy Dalton, Mitch Trubisky, and Nick Foles are the reason he is no longer employed in Chicago.

He was a great addition to an Atlanta front office that needs all the help finding the talent they can find. Their recent draft and free agency swings have seen more misses than hits. With the recent trend of signing former Bears, there is reason to think there might be more former Bears headed to Atlanta after the draft.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at the three best fits for a rebuilding Atlanta roster that will be focused on playing primarily young players.
