1. Tarik Cohen

Tarik Cohen fits the Atlanta Falcons both in the fact he is a former Chicago Bear and the fact he is coming off of the worst season of his young career. In his first two seasons, Cohen was an impact player off the bench who was a great change of pace running back. He has a burst that allows him the chance to score any time he touches the football.

That ability combined with the fact he is a great receiver out of the backfield helped him find success in his first two seasons. As things fell apart in Chicago Cohen’s chances and production both went in the wrong direction.

Cohen would pair well with Cordarrelle Patterson and give Mariota a great check-down option any time Patterson is off the field or lined up in another position. If Cohen is able to bounce back he is still in his prime and could become a part of Atlanta Falcons’ rebuild.

Cohen is only a fit if the Falcons choose not to address the position in the draft. If they draft a running back early in the draft Cohen isn’t an option considering Patterson and Mike Davis are both still under contract.
