2. New York Jets

When the Chiefs dealt Tyreek Hill the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets were the last two teams in the running for the star receiver. It is obvious the Jets wanted to make a splash this off-season and bring in a star to support Zach Wilson. Wilson had an inconsistent season but put enough together to lead the Jets to believe he is the quarterback of the future.

The Jets desperately want to be relevant again and make a push in what is shaping up to be a very tough AFC. To compete in the conference you’re going to need stars and Deebo Samuel qualifies as such. Much like Atlanta the Jets have solid draft picks but with their recent track record trading for Samuel would likely be the safer bet.

Bringing in a star player to pair alongside Elijah Moore and making the Jets far more interesting. While acquiring Deebo doesn’t make the team a contender it does push them a step closer and gives them a star player the team has lacked for much of the last decade. Deebo to New York would not be at all surprising considering the Jets off-season moves and how aggressive they are willing to be to set up Zach Wilson to take a step forward this season.
