Round 2, Pick 43: Jahan Dotson, WR Penn State

This has been a popular pick for the Falcons over the course of mock draft season. There is no doubt the team needs a receiver and they will likely target one in the second round of the draft, provided they do not take one with their top pick.

Jahan Dotson is not the biggest guy but he would bring some juice to the team’s offense. He is a finesse receiver that will attempt to make you miss rather than overpower defenders. Watch out for him to be the Falcons pick in the second round.

Round 2, Pick 58: Cameron Thomas, EDGE San Diego State

The computer did a pretty good job with identifying and drafting needs for the Falcons. Edge rusher is one of the most glaring holes on the roster, so getting one in the first couple of rounds should be a priority

Thomas is a smart and big edge defender, one that will have an immediate impact on the group for Atlanta, especially when you look at who he would be competing with.

Round 3, Pick 74: Coby Bryant, CB Cincinnati

Atlanta may not end up with Sauce Gardner but they could certainly take his counterpart, Coby Bryant. Bryant has good size for the position and could end up being a very useful player for the Falcons immediately.

Round 3, Pick 82: Daniel Faalele, OT Minnesota

Talk about a giant person, Faalele is six-foot-eight and has physical traits that will blow you away. He is in need of some coaching but if you can get that under control, he has the talent to become a great player in the NFL and hopefully one that will replace Kaleb McGary.
