1. Jordan Davis

Jordan Davis was the story of the NFL combine and one of the best prospects in this draft. While drafting Davis at 8th overall would be a bit of a reach it would be less of a reach than drafting Drake 8th overall was.  Jordan Davis would help Atlanta solve the pass rush issue as well as their inability to stop the run. Davis isn’t simply a defensive tackle who helps stop the run he creates havoc with the ability to implode the pocket.

Jordan Davis would have been the perfect defensive addition to bring to Atlanta alongside Grady Jarrett. Davis would have been a long-term answer in the middle of the defense if the Falcons are unable to reach an extension with Jarrett as well who is scheduled to be a free agent after this season.

Picking Jordan Davis would have gone a long way in rebuilding the defense. Davis would have been more impactful to a defense that badly needs rebuilding in comparison to a receiver who Atlanta lacks the franchise quarterback or pass blocking to set up for success. Passing on Jordan Davis to select Drake London was the wrong decision.
