Following the NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons made a series of moves to help open up well over $15-million in cap space. Space that can be used to sign their rookie class as well as make much-needed veteran additions.

To open up cap space Atlanta extended Grady Jarret on a new three-year deal. A well-deserved extension for a player that Atlanta can build their new defensive scheme around. Mike Davis became a cap causality as well in one of the more predictable moves of the Atlanta off-season.

Davis had a disappointing season for Atlanta and never seemed to fit Arthur Smith’s offense. Cutting him was the right move for a team that needs running backs with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield or to get to the outside.

The majority of Atlanta’s new found cap space will go to signing their draft class, however, Atlanta should have enough space left to bring in veteran impact additions. With the draft now behind us, free agency should begin to pick up again as teams attempt to address the positions they were unable to fill in the draft. Here are three players, in particular, the Falcons should consider bringing to Atlanta.
