Geronimo Allison, former Packers and Lions wide receiver, signed with the Falcons after participating in Atlanta’s rookie minicamp this weekend.
Allison signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Lions in 2020. After opting out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19, Allison was released by the Lions in August of 2021 and re-signed a week later to their practice squad.
After bouncing back and forth between their active roster in 2021, Allison appeared in three games for the Lions last season, starting one. He didn’t register a reception.
With the Green Bay Packers, Allison was one of the more productive playmakers on their offense from the time he was signed as an undrafted free agent up until his departure for Detroit.
During his four seasons in Green Bay, Allison played in 46 games, starting 14 of those. In those 46 appearances, Allison registered 89 catches for 1,045 yards, averaging 11.7 yards per reception, to go along with six touchdown receptions.
Allison made his first career NFL appearance against the Atlanta Falcons in week eight of the 2016 season, catching his first career pass from Aaron Rodgers in the end zone of the Georgia Dome.
Tucker Fisk was signed out of the Falcons rookie minicamp, starting at both tight end and defensive end during his time at Stanford. Fisk won Stanford’s 2021 Jack Huston Award, which Stanford says is “awarded to the player exemplifying aggressiveness, exceptional performance, and unheralded efforts.”
Defensive back Tre Webb announced himself that he was signing with the Falcons, posting the news on his personal social media:

Webb was a rookie camp invitee out of Montana State, where he played with second-round pick Troy Anderson. In his lone season with the Bobcats, Webb was named to the All-Big Sky Conference Team, logging 70 total tackles (39 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, an interception, a quarterback hit, and two pass breakups.
Along with these signings, Atlanta announced the releases of wide receiver Chad Hansen, tight end Daniel Helm, and safety Luther Kirk.
