Three Atlanta Falcons players on their way out after the draft

The Falcons will have some tough decisions on who to let go in the coming months

After every draft, there are multiple players that you can look at and instantly say that their road to making the roster just became exponentially more difficult, and that is the case following the draft and subsequent moves made by the Falcons.

It was a very entertaining draft and it will hopefully go down as the turning point for the franchise.

They added a new franchise receiver early on, then filled some holes on the defense, and finally added a quarterback that will be expected to be the leader of the football team, at least at some point down the road.

It will be interesting to see how the depth chart shakes up come September, as this is new territory for a lot of fans. Not having a clear starter at the quarterback position as well as an unproven group of receivers.

Having Matt Ryan for the past 14 years left little uncertainty on who would win the starting role to start the season, but now it could be Marcus Mariota or rookie Desmond Ridder.

Nonetheless, it will make for an entertaining preseason when the time finally comes.
