The Atlanta Falcons’ full schedule has been released and with it a good idea of just how rare wins will be for Atlanta this season. With a rebuilding roster and one of the ten toughest schedules in the league, Atlanta is in for a rough season.

Desmond Ridder is the one wildcard that could change Atlanta’s outlook on the season. If he is able to win the starting job and proves himself to be a long-term answer Atlanta’s season changes completely. While they still wouldn’t be playoff contenders Ridder could at the very least make them interesting.

We watched last season as the Houston Texans and rookie Davis Mills pulled off an upset over the L.A. Chargers. Rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars ended their season with an upset win over the Colts. One that sent the Colts home and ended Carson Wentz’s time with the organization.

The point here being if Marcus Mariota is the starting quarterback Atlanta’s ceiling is obvious. The team will struggle and be unable to consistently compete. Ridder is the unknown who could change that outlook.

Regardless of who wins the starting job, Atlanta should be favored in only three games this season. Here are Atlanta’s three best chances at finding wins this season.
