Just last week it was announced that the Atlanta Falcons had made another roster move, this time via a trade.

The Las Vegas Raiders traded their talented wide receiver, Bryan Edwards, to the Atlanta Falcons. and looking at the trade details it becomes clear that the Falcons are the winners of this trade.

Raiders trade a player they could have used to the Falcons for very little

The Falcons have needed receiver help all offseason long, and it is obvious they knew that too. First, they signed Auden Tate, Damiere Byrd, and KhaDarel Hodge, then they used their top draft pick on a talented receiver, followed by the trade for Bryan Edwards and the signing of Geronimo Allison.

That is a lot of moves to make to one position group in just a few months, it is the definition of retooling a position.

Bryan Edwards stands out as he was a productive player for the Las Vegas Raiders last year, but for some reason, they traded him and a seventh-round pick for a fifth-round pick.

Keep in mind this was one of their third-round draft picks from just a couple years ago.

Now, people might argue that they have Hunter Renfrow while also adding Demarcus Robinson and Davante Adams, but without a doubt, they could have still used Bryan Edwards. Past those top three players, you have Keelan Cole and Mack Hollins, certainly, Edwards would have still been a big piece to the offense.

But we are not here to criticize another team, we are here to talk about the Falcons and the Falcons made a perfect move by bringing in Bryan Edwards.

Sure, he did not put up eye-popping numbers last year, however, if you look at some of the catches he made throughout the year, many in big-time moments, it is evident that he has so much talent.

You can do nothing but applaud Terry Fontenot for making this move.
