Who are the Atlanta Falcons all-time leading receivers?
By Nick Halden
1. Julio Jones- 12,896-receiving yards
No matter how great Drake London, Kyle Pitts, or any future Atlanta Falcons receiver is there will never be another Julio Jones. Julio is unsurprisingly the all-time receiving yards leader for Atlanta ranking ahead of White by more than 2,000-yards.
At his peak, Julio was the best receiver in football, unable to be stopped. It didn’t matter how many players were attempting to guard Jones he always found a way to get open. Julio’s 12,896-career receiving yards are good enough to make him the 17th leading receiver in the history of the league.
With at least another season left Julio has a great chance to end his career inside the top ten. Picking one Julio moment is impossible simply due to the fact there are far too many moments of greatness to choose from.
Whether it was his toe-tapping sideline catch in the Super Bowl, demolishing the Packers in the playoffs, or climbing the ladder to grab a touchdown over the top of two Panthers to cement Atlanta’s win over the previously undefeated Panthers there are myriad of great Julio moments that will forever live in franchise history.
