2. Danny Amendola

Atlanta Falcons fans will less than fondly remember Danny Amendola and how clutch the receiver is. If Amendola doesn’t retire or decide to re-join his former quarterback in Tampa he could be a great fit for the Falcons.

Amendola is coming off of a rough season managing only 248-receiving yards with the rebuilding Texans. Despite the tough year, there is still plenty of reason to believe Amendola can contribute to the right team. Even if this level of production is all that can be expected from him at this point in his career it would be worth bringing him in.

Not only can you count on Amendola to make a clutch play when you need it the most much like Jackson he is an experienced receiver who has been dealt with all levels of struggles and success in this league. He would be a great asset to the young receiver group Atlanta has put together and offers them a potential mentor in what should be a very long season.

Amendola may not be a flashy addition at this point in his career, however, it would be an impactful one the Falcons should heavily consider. It gives them a clear fourth option at receiver and a player they know they can count on if injury strikes.

Drake London and Bryan Edwards should be the primary targets there is nothing but questions behind them, however, pointing to the fact Atlanta needs to add a veteran like Amendola before the season kicks off.
