Despite the Atlanta Falcons heading into a season where wins will be found with rarity, there are plenty of reasons to watch the Falcons this season. They have done a great job this off-season improving their depth and adding young players with a chance to establish themselves as a part of the team’s future.

This season is all about finding who Atlanta is going to build around as they make a push to contend next off-season. Who will be this season’s A.J. Terrell or Cordarrelle Patterson? Which Atlanta Falcon is going to enjoy a breakout season?

While Drake London would be one obvious choice Atlanta’s roster is full of potential breakout stars for a roster badly in need of talent. The biggest hope for the Falcons is finding breakout players along the defensive and offensive lines. Atlanta needs to find a semblance of a pass rush and a way to improve their pass protection.

Their inability to block along the interior of the offensive line was their biggest issue on offense. A lot of blame belongs on the shoulders of Kaleb McGary and Jalen Mayfield. Two players who should be competing for their jobs throughout the pre-season. With this in mind, let’s take a look at three Falcons who could be setting themselves up for breakout seasons.
