There are talented players in the USFL that the Falcons should look at

There has been no shortage of alternate football leagues recently, even if most have not survived, but the Falcons should take advantage of some players who are lighting it up in the new USFL.

While the USFL is not officially partnered with the NFL, like the upcoming XFL is, players are allowed to void their contracts to sign with an NFL team. Most of these players, if not all, are trying to make it to the NFL.

While obviously, the USFL’s talent is nowhere near the NFL’s level, there are still some players who should get a shot with NFL teams.

Think about the original USFL that was the starting place for some future Pro Football Hall of Famers like Reggie White, Jim Kelly, and Steve Young, although back then they were much more aggressive in signing top players coming out of college.

Most current USFL players have been with an NFL team at some point, so they do have experience with how the offseason works and for some of them, how things work during the regular season.
