The Falcons should sign DE Chris Odom from the Houston Gamblers

Chris Odom might be a name Falcons fans recognize as he has been a part of the team two different times.

The Falcons gave him his first shot in the NFL coming out of Arkansas State, he was eventually waived and signed with the Packers who gave him an opportunity to get on the field during meaningful games. Following that he played for the Salt Lake Stallions of the AAF, the Falcons again, the Commanders, the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL, and now the Houston Gamblers.

Odom has played in 11 NFL games, seven with the Packers, and four with the Commanders, with 16 total tackles and two sacks. Those two sacks came in the same game against the Panthers.

Now with the Houston Gamblers, he is leading the league in sacks with 11 of them, four more than any other player.

Odom could finally be putting it together as he is tearing it up the new league, even if it is not against NFL competition. Atlanta needs pass rushers in a bad way and Chris Odom could give the Falcons some defensive pressure on the opposing quarterback.
