2. Drew Brees

Drew Brees is a year removed from football and spent a season with NBC in the broadcast booth. Brees and NBC parted ways this off-season leading to a tweet from Brees that seemingly opened the door to the quarterback’s return. While it seems more likely the tweet was a joke and not a serious comeback bid Atlanta has to hope Brees stays retired.

As much as Atlanta fans may dislike Tom Brady it doesn’t come close to the utter disdain they have for the New Orleans Saints as a football team.

The rivalry throughout history tilts towards the Falcons’ favor with them holding an all-time 53-51 record. However, during Drew Brees’ time in New Orleans, it tilts heavily towards New Orleans with a 19-9 record against Atlanta.

Despite his age, Atlanta doesn’t want to see Brees return to the football field. Atlanta would far rather face Jameis Winston who has compiled a 4-5 record against Atlanta that included memorable turnovers. Atlanta has to hope Drew’s tweet was simply a joke and not a hint at a comeback attempt for a quarterback who often got the better of Atlanta.
