Reason two: Julio Jones has the exact skillset that the Falcons have been prioritizing in their new WRs this offseason

It was clear that the Atlanta Falcons were going to have a big makeover in their wide receiver room this offseason, especially following the suspension of Calvin Ridley. What was not expected was the amount of big-bodied wide receivers they would bring in.

Auden Tate, Bryan Edwards, Drake London, and Geronimo Allison all have one thing in common—they are all tall receivers.

Well, guess who else fits that mold? That’s right, Julio Jones.

Julio Jones is a big receiver as he stands at six-foot-three and weighs 220 pounds. He has always been known for his extremely rare combination of size and speed.

It has been blatantly obvious that Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot have made it a priority to bring in physical receivers. They started it off by signing Auden Tate then they used their top draft pick on Drake London followed by trading for Bryan Edwards and signing Geronimo Allison. Why not continue that trend by signing one of the best receivers the NFL has ever seen?

All in all, it is safe to say that Julio Jones would fit in perfectly with the new receivers the Falcons have already brought in and will only make opposing defenses more worried about how they will defend a basketball team of receivers.
