2. Baker Mayfield

Baker Mayfield may not be in the top-ten quarterback conversation with Lamar Jackson, however, he has the talent to lead a franchise. Playing through an injury last season has led to a slanted view as to just how talented Mayfield is and how good he is capable of being.

Wherever he lands this season it seems Baker is likely to sign with that team. If he doesn’t he will become a free agent and should be added to the list of possible answers for the Atlanta Falcons. He would be a quarterback Atlanta wouldn’t have to overpay for and would be able to build a roster around.

Baker did lead a Browns team that has been terrible over the last decade to the playoffs. Last season should be set aside for what it was a year Baker was playing when shouldn’t have been. Atlanta could do much worse than Baker, if they rebuild their offensive line and surround him with Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Cordarrelle Patterson, and possibly Calvin Ridley the Falcons would have playoff possibility with a quarterback who is better than many around the league seem to think.
