3. Devonta Freeman

Devonta Freeman’s tenure with the Atlanta Falcons is often unfairly remembered due to his injuries and an infamous missed block in the biggest game of his career. At his best Freeman was great in Atlanta and an integral part of the Atlanta offense that carried the team to a Super Bowl in the 2016 season.

Since leaving Atlanta Freeman has spent time with the Giants, Saints, and Ravens. Freeman found success in Baltimore last season averaging 4.3-yards-per-carry the most since the 2018 season with the Falcons. Freeman finished with 576-rushing yards and 190-receiving yards. A bounceback season that should earn Freeman another season if the running back wants to return.

Freeman returning to Atlanta would make sense for the Falcons with Mike Davis gone and Cordarrelle Patterson spending time at a myriad of positions.  Freeman as the second or third option would be a great fit for both sides and give Atlanta a change of pace back alongside Cordarrelle Patterson.

Falcons must get Patterson one more touchdown. dark. Next
