The Falcons have already said they are not done adding to the roster

The Atlanta Falcons general manager, Terry Fontenot, has already made the statement that “the final 53 are not in the building right now.” This quite obviously eludes to the fact that the Falcons will still, at the very least, make one more free-agent signing.

It will be interesting to see what kind of signings they will make, will they be veteran players? Will they be younger, less established players? No one can know for sure.

But what we do know for sure is that this roster can definitely get better. They lack depth at almost every position which is exactly what separates the good teams from the bad teams. Injuries always happen, and you must have an insurance plan for every starting player.

Bringing in a veteran or two, even if just for depth, could change a lot about this roster. Just go look at the roster, it is scary what a couple injuries could end up doing to this team. They just do not have solid backup plans for numerous positions.

So, we will look at three veterans that Terry Fontenot and the Atlanta Falcons should consider bringing in to help reinforce the young, talented roster.
