3. Will Fuller

Another option to help improve Atlanta’s lack of speed at the receiver position could be a player the team has already been tied to this off-season. When the Falcons made their ill-advised attempt to bring Deshaun Watson to Atlanta one of the players that were expected to follow Watson to Atlanta is free agent receiver, Will Fuller. Fuller has a history with Watson and was a great second option in Houston for the Texans.

Fuller is coming off of a terrible season that saw the receiver manage only 4-catches for 26-receiving yards for the Miami Dolphins. This comes only a year after finishing with 879-receiving yards with the Texans.

The only concern with Fuller heading to Atlanta is the fact he will be looking to rebound and may want to join a team who can offer a larger role than the Falcons can.  Despite this Atlanta should still offer considering his speed and talent.

Buying low in free agency is all Atlanta can afford to do and signing Fuller certainly qualifies as such.  He would be a great fit within Arthur Smith’s offense and give Mariota a much-needed third option to rely on if Edwards and London were to struggle in their new roles.
