3 Star quarterbacks the Atlanta Falcons should be watching closely this season

2. Kyler Murray

Another star mobile quarterback who still hasn’t been given the deal he obviously deserves in Arizona. Murray was briefly thought to be on the outs with the Cardinals this off-season when the quarterback changed his social media and was thought to be unhappy with the front office. Since that time Arizona appears to have worked itself back into the good graces of Murray and made moves to help set the quarterback up to take another step forward this season.

The next step for Kyler is making it to the playoffs healthy and proving he can lead a team to a playoff win. The Rams made a lot of teams look bad last season, however, Kyler’s poor playoff game certainly stands out.

Atlanta should keep a close eye on Murray in case the quarterback becomes unhappy with Arizona once again. There is also the chance the Cardinals are unwilling to pay Murray due to his size and play style. If that is the case there will plenty of teams willing to bet on Kyler and pay the price to have him as the leader of their franchise.

Kyler would be a huge upgrade for the Atlanta Falcons and accelerate the rebuild for a team that for the first time in over a decade must find a franchise quarterback.
