Atlanta Falcons: Three players to replace retired Eddie Goldman
Ndamukong Suh
It is probably wishful thinking that the Atlanta Falcons would go after Ndamukong Suh for a couple of reasons.
The first reason is that he is a big-named free agent and is someone who is probably not looking to join a rebuilding team. He likely wants to join a team that will have instant success, Falcons aren’t exactly that.
The second reason is that he is not the best fit for a Dean Pees 3-4 scheme. He has rarely played nose tackle in his career and is more of a three-technique defensive tackle. This is a huge factor but there still is the possibility that they would target him for his experience and history of dominant success.
Not to mention, it would be great to stick it to the division rival Buccaneers who have cast him off, and hopefully, he would absolutely dominate against his former team.
He dominated the Falcons last year so the front office had a front-row seat to see what kind of player he can be. He put up three of his six sacks on the year against the Falcons.
Out of the three options on this list, this is without a doubt the least likely signing but there is always that chance.
