Week 4: Cleveland Browns @ Atlanta Falcons on October 2nd

This game is probably the most difficult to predict for the Atlanta Falcons because we have no idea what is going to happen with the team on the other side.

Will it be Deshaun Watson starting? Will it be Jacoby Brissett starting? Who in the heck knows?

The NFL continues to drag its feet with delivering a suspension on Watson, and for the competitive advantage, the Falcons are hoping that they decide soon and give him a suspension that makes him unable to travel with the team to Atlanta.

How embarrassing would it be to totally strike out on Watson, lose your franchise quarterback in the process, and then four weeks into the season you get hammered by the same quarterback who backed out on you at the last second?

We want to avoid that at all costs, even if it would be funny to see the Falcons hand Watson a loss in his home state.

This game, and basically all the other Browns games, hinges on whether or not Watson is suspended. If he is, then the Falcons must win, but if he isn’t, they will have trouble stopping him and probably end up with a loss.

Let’s just assume that Watson plays in this game because it just seems like the NFL is not ready to suspend him. Feels like he will at least play to start the year.

Here the Falcons do hang tough for much of the game but ultimately they fall short to a better Cleveland team.

Results: Browns 30, Falcons 21

Record: 2-2
