3. Chris Lindstrom

Chris Lindstrom and Grady Jarrett are similar in the fact they both have been rare standouts in absolute disasters. Jake Matthews is still a solid left tackle but there is an argument to be made that Lindstrom is Atlanta’s best lineman and most underrated player. He consistently does his job at a high level despite the dumpster fire around him.

On one side Lindstrom has Kaleb McGary who is going to be replaced soon by Atlanta and at center Matt Hennessy who is coming off of a rough season. Lindstrom is without question a building block the Falcons will need to sign to a long-term deal soon.

He is one of two linemen the Falcons can count on and has given consistent production in pass and run blocking and should be at the top of the list along with Terrell when it comes to extensions for current Atlanta players.

Lindstrom isn’t an elite guard but he is certainly underappreciated and deserves more respect throughout the league. Despite Atlanta’s struggles along the offensive line he has more than proven himself and deserves to be a part of Atlanta’s future.

Next. Terrell should have won defensive player of the year. dark
