Atlanta Falcons rival’s tweet is looking awfully hypocritical now

Nothing new here, the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints do not like each other. Both their fans and players tend to poke fun at each other every once in a while.

Not too long ago, one current Saints player made a joke about Eddie Goldman’s decision to retire two weeks after he signed with the Falcons, but now that joke is looking awfully hypocritical.

Falcons can retaliate with a joke of their own after Cam Jordan’s tweet that poked fun at them

We wrote not too long ago about how the Falcons signed Eddie Goldman only for him to retire 13 days later, which subsequently brought on a tweet from a player who loves to play into this rivalry.

Now we can take a shot of our own:

Sooo 1 practice with the Saints and that was all he needed to make up his mind 👀

That’s what it seems like, as the veteran linebacker has decided to retire after making it through one practice with the team he just signed with — albeit a team he had formerly played for.

It is just so ironic that his tweet has come back to bite him. He likely won’t get many jokes thrown his way because there are just not many, if any, Falcons players who care enough to play along with this. They are too busy making themselves better.

Obviously, all of this is just for fun. Cam Jordan knew that the Falcons organization had nothing to do with Eddie Goldman’s decision to retire and we know that Kiko Alonso’s decision to retire has nothing to do with the Saints organization.

This is football, a sport that is full of grown men running full speed into each other for more than three hours each week, not to mention the contact that is taken during practices basically every day.

But Cam Jordan should get at least some retaliation after the same exact thing he made fun of the Falcons for, has happened to his team. It is just comical.
