Who the Atlanta Falcons’ top three wide receivers could be

  • WR1: Drake London
  • WR2: Bryan Edwards
  • WR3: Olamide Zaccheaus

This position group for the Falcons obviously starts with the eighth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Drake London is ridiculously talented and has been making a name for himself in training camp. Just watch him make the veteran Casey Hayward look like he is ice skating:

Casey Hayward has been one of the best and most consistent corners in the league over the past decade — Drake London made him look helpless.

The talent is there and he looks fully healthy, the question will be whether or not he will be able to handle being the top outside threat — at least when Kyle Pitts is lined up inside — and as it looks right now, there is little reason to believe that he can’t handle it.

The second receiver is Bryan Edwards who should be happy that he got traded because he will get a ton more opportunities here than he would have in Las Vegas.

Edwards is an exciting player, while he has never shown consistency, he has shown he can be a big-time playmaker in the league. The pressure is not on him like it is with London and Pitts, which should help him and the team in the long run.

Finally, we have Olamide Zaccheaus who will likely be the go-to guy in the slot. He is shifty and fast but he needs to be more consistent each week.
