With Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Matt Ryan all gone from the Atlanta Falcons roster, there will be few familiar Atlanta names in the top half of fantasy football drafts this season. There are very limited Falcons that will be drafted whatsoever in a rebuilding season with few proven options on the roster.

Outside of kicker Younghoe Koo and tight-end Kyle Pitts, there aren’t any proven stat producers on the roster. While Atlanta fans might be tempted to take Marcus Mariota in his first year with Atlanta that approach would be ill-advised.

At best Mariota is a bench option until we see what he is capable of putting on the field consistently. He is far too big of a risk considering the fact he was benched partly for consistent turnovers with the Titans and has been sitting on the bench for the majority of the last three years.

Calvin Ridley will be off the table as well this season with his one-year suspension for gambling on NFL games when he was away from the team last season. While this may appear to leave limited options for Atlanta fans in upcoming fantasy football drafts there are three Falcons who are being underrated in many leagues this season.
