3) Week 7: @ Cincinnati Bengals

The Falcons will have to travel to Cincinnati to take on the AFC Champion Bengals who surprised everyone last year.

Their team is obviously led by their offense with Joe Burrow and the trio of great wide receivers he has to throw to. Jamar Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd helped the Bengals have a dynamic offense. You cannot forget about Joe Mixon too and they also signed Hayden Hurst in the offseason.

For their defense, it might not be quite as elite as their offense but they did just enough last year to win them games. Trey Hendrickson and Jessie Bates are really the two players you have to watch out for.

2) Week 5 & 18: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers have won four straight against the Atlanta Falcons, in the three most recent games the Bucs have beat them by 17 points or more. Tom Brady has really turned the series around between these two teams.

Is there really any reason to think that will change?

Atlanta remains winless against Tom Brady in 10 career games, it is frustrating, to say the least. There is not much else you can say, other than maybe Marcus Mariota can turn the recent misfortunes around for the Falcons.

1) Week 2: @ Los Angeles Rams

The most difficult game for the Atlanta Falcons comes in week two against the defending champs.

Sean McVay runs this elite offense and gets the most out of every single one of his players. He was ecstatic to land Matt Stafford last year, and it all paid off with a Super Bowl victory over the Bengals.

Matt Stafford to Cooper Kupp is the most deadly combo in the league, and now add Allen Robinson to that group. They also have underrated weapons in Cam Akers and Van Jefferson.

On the defensive side, they have the best defender in the league by far with Aaron Donald as well as one of the best corners in Jalen Ramsey. It is also easy to forget that they added the all-time great linebacker, Bobby Wagner.

On a quick note, maybe the Falcons should sign Devonta Freeman for this game to see if he can finally win a fight against Aaron Donald this time. I’ll still take Aaron Donald though.

Anyways, this is perhaps the most complete team in the league as they showed last season. It would basically be a moral victory if Atlanta can stay within ten points on the final scoreboard.
