Defensive line (5):

  • Grady Jarrett
  • Ta’Quon Graham
  • Marlon Davidson
  • Anthony Rush
  • Nick Thurman

Oh boy, this is not a great group of defensive linemen for the Atlanta Falcons.

Grady Jarrett is coming off of his worst season in years, but we should not be too worried about that because we know the type of player he is and can be. He won’t reach the Aaron Donald sack numbers but that does not mean he does not affect the quarterback.

He has virtually been the only guy who has been able to get consistent pressure on the QB over the past number of years. He should be back to his normal self this year.

Ta’Quon Graham is a possible breakout candidate, he looked great in his first action in the preseason. He absolutely bullied the Lions’ blocker on one specific play.

As for Marlon Davidson, we need to see more from him without a doubt. It has been a disappointing career for the former second-round pick out of Auburn. Time for him to show us what he can do.

As for Anthony Rush, he basically pushed Tyeler Davison off the roster, well that, and the money Davison was owed. He was solid and is just a huge body in the middle of the line as he is six-foot-five and 350 pounds.

And then Nick Thurman rounds out the defensive line for the Falcons. Watch out for one of the undrafted free agents here as well.
